INDEPENDENT ARTCRAFT GUIDE

ArtCraft.

A practical guide.

Brandon Thomas is the founder behind ArtCraft. Explore seven selected creative apps by task and development status, find official links, and export a starter list.

Two routes: the seven apps covered here cover individual editing tasks; the separate ArtCraft AI studio helps compose and generate images and video.

01 / CHOOSE YOUR TOOL

What do you want to make?

Seven selected apps. Different jobs.
Find your starting point below.

The official lineup lists twelve apps as of October 12, 2026. This directory focuses on seven selected creative tools. For an image-editing walkthrough, use our PhotoCraft tutorial with tested sample files.

Compare tasks and status, not tested performance. Use this directory to compare intended tasks, listed platforms and official development status. PhotoCraft and PdfCraft are labeled early alpha; the others are in development. Adobe names describe similar tasks. We have not tested feature parity, compatibility or production readiness. Make a starter list in three steps

  1. Choose a task below, such as images or video.
  2. Save the apps you want to try.
  3. Download a TXT file with official links and a suggested test for each app.

No account or payment is needed for this list. The list is temporary. Download the TXT before refreshing or leaving this page; returning may not restore your choices. Official software and AI services have their own access requirements.

A listed Web build may require hosting; it does not confirm a ready-to-use online app. Check each official app page for access.

02 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECT

An engineer.
A filmmaker.
A tool builder.

Who is Brandon Thomas, ArtCraft’s founder?

Brandon Thomas identifies himself on GitHub as @echelon, an engineer and filmmaker, and founder of ArtCraft, Storyteller.ai and FakeYou. His profile links to the ArtCraft repository and his personal site, brand.io.

The useful distinction: the ArtCraft AI studio helps compose and generate visual work. The Crafting Apps cover individual editing tasks. Choosing the right project first saves a lot of confusion.

03 / A LITTLE CLARITY

04 / BEFORE YOU START

A few good
questions.

Is ArtCraft completely free?

The Crafting Apps are presented as free software by their team. The AI studio has a separate model and credits offering, including paid plans. Software access does not mean every AI generation is free. Check official pricing ↗

Can it replace my Adobe subscription today?

That depends on your workflow. This guide has not verified project compatibility, plugin support, color output or stability. Try a duplicate of a representative project before deciding. An early build is not a promise of production readiness.

Where should I download the apps?

Use the official product pages linked in the directory. They point to the launcher, standalone installers and repositories. A GitHub source ZIP is different from an installer.

Was ArtCraft built with AI?

AI-assisted development is part of the public discussion around the project. This guide does not independently audit how much code was AI-generated. It focuses on verifiable projects, official entry points and current development labels.

Is this the official ArtCraft website?

No. Craft Fieldnotes is an independent guide by SailToWorld. The official product website is getartcraft.com. We do not provide ArtCraft accounts, billing or software support.
